Outrageous and true. Mayor de Weerd’s daughter, whom recently received a minor in possession ticket, gets $1,000 of your tax dollars in a sham judging panel. Isn’t it nice to know publicly funded scholarships are going to the most worthy and needy?

Consider the fight against outrageous government spending. No Major party nominee since Goldwater, Reagan included, has been as consistently and bravely dedicated to fiscal discipline as has McCain. Last week he both made a superb campaign speech and penned a hard-hitting column for the Chicago Tribune blasting the bloated, irresponsible Farm Bil for which 80 percent of his colleagues were cravenly voting. Likewise, McCain’s longstanding record of opposing purely local pork barrel projects, “earmarks”, is well known, and utterly unmatched. McCain also consistently has opposed expansion of entitlement programs, which of course are the biggest long-term fiscal problems facing this nation. Indeed, entitlements collectively represent an absolutely deadly time bomb, and McCain might be the only man in American politics today with the will power, the moral standing, and the sheer cussedness needed to defuse it.
Immigration outstanding, what else does McCain need to take action on to bring you on board? Are you really willing to withhold your vote, conservative voter, based on the above?

Idaho Values Alliance: Conservatives Win Big

Election Results A Threat To GOP Chair Kirk Sullivan? Story 1, Story 2, Story 3
Personally I think Kirk Sullivan will hold onto his job, but he has been put on notice: the time for Republicans to stray from their principals in pursuit of votes is over. The “line in the sand” for most conservatives was long ago. This was demonstrated by the 30% turnout against McCain and incumbent losses to more conservative, reputable and established foes. Perhaps the national party should take note….

Yet another proof source for the growing consensus: 2008 is the Republicans year to lose.

Quite simply, an acceptance of a consulate is one step toward establishing Boise as a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants.
Don’t believe me? Check out the battle that is occurring with the San Diego Police Department and the S.D. City Council. This battle will soon be coming to Boise now that Condi Rice has approved a Mexican Consulate for Idaho.
The San Diego City Council wants to establish themselves as a “Sanctuary City”. While they seek the declarations to make it official, outsiders looking in wonder why the time and expense of declaring it official is really necessary.
At issue is the matricula consular I.D. card issued by the Mexican Government. In communities with a disproportionate number of illegal immigrants, local law enforcement often finds itself handicapped into accepting the matricula consular as a valid identification in place of say a drivers license or birth certificate. This is the case in San Diego. The city council is trying to pass regulations such as the above, the local Sheriff is sticking to federal law requirements, which say these documents are not valid operator permits.
Matricula consular cards are issued at consulate’s. They are neither secure or widely accepted as identification cards, and there is no real time verification of the identity of the person for whom the matricula consular is being issued. Check out this site for more information on the matricula consular .
Opening a consulate in Idaho is a direct route for illegal immigrants to establish themselves as “legitimate” citizens of the United States. Even banks want to get in the act, accepting foreign identification for opening a bank account.
Quite simply, Idaho law is not ready for the presence of the Mexican consulate in the area. Strong laws are needed to prevent local communities from declaring themselves ’sanctuary cities’ and accepting the easily issued matricula consular cards as valid for driving, employment, insurance purposes and and law enforcement matters.
The standards for issuance of the cards are too lose: there is no active verification of the applicants identity. Terrorists, criminals and ill-intended individuals can and will use this loophole to gain entry into America.
Furthermore, Idaho should not demean those already living here who have taken steps to establish a legitimate and legal identity. Americans should not be forced to accept a foreign identification card as a valid United States presence. Additionally, the matricula consular is not a drivers license in Mexico, why would we allow illegal immigrants to pass it off as such to local law enforcement?
We don’t, and shouldn’t. The plans for the consulate are already moving forward, we need to pressure lawmakers now to stop the acceptance of foreign ID, outside of where Federal Law requires, as a valid legal document. Otherwise, that beat up old jalopy behind you with 20 people in it? They will be unlicensed and uninsured and law enforcement will be powerless to do anything about it when they rear end you. Or take your job. Or use tax-payer funded services.
As least Idaho Law says that the matricula consular is not valid for obtaining a Idaho Drivers license. Will the Idaho Legislature strengthen this statute to prevent local government from accepting the matricula consular AS A drivers license?
And this is for certain: when that consulate opens up it will attract more illegals. The question is now, will we be prepared to handle the results?

Hillary must have learned from being pinned down by sniper fire earlier this year.
Hillary, being pressed on why she insists on staying in the race, told the New York Post:
“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.”
In other words: Hillary will consider assassinating Barack if necessary. More proof that the Clinton’s, with all their mob and mafia connections, will consider anything to get and maintain their power base.
Quite simply, every political observer saw this coming.
What I’m surprised at is that she tipped her hand. Is anyone really shocked that Hillary would seek to assassinate B. Hussein? All one has to do is google “Clinton’s Trail Of Blood” to see what happens at the fringe edges of their power. As an observer of politics, I am not at all surprised that the Clinton’s would consider assassinating a political opponent. Especially since that opponent is about to “rob” you of the White House.
Be very alarmed by this my dear readers, this is a frightening display of the level of power hungry insanity that Hillary would operate on should she win the nomination. Her viciousness would easily surpass that of her husband’s. I think it’s about time we start dissecting almost all of her statements for overt threats like this. What other threats and corruption have we missed on the campaign trail?

Its not fun to argue in favor of polygamist’s. If fact, I find their whole compound and lifestyle disturbing. But that does not deter the fact that in this case the constitution requires our attention. I am sure many of them would find things in my lifestyle disturbing.
Quite simply, the State of Texas fabricated a “victim” as an excuse act on a “hunch” of child abuse.
Hmmm… what a shock. You mean you can’t rip children away from 300+ families because one child in one family on the compound was being supposedly abused? Never mind the fact that the supposed victim doesn’t exist in this case. It is just plain common sense that the rule of law would have to be applied in every circumstance, not blanket or en masse.
Quite simply the State of Texas prosecuted this church because it did not like their lifestyle or teachings.
Looking to the future, one can only wonder how much the lawyers for the Yearning For Zion ranch will ask for in punitive damages against the State of Texas. This could turn into one of the biggest religious and civil right abuse cases to come about in a long time. I will endeavor to keep you posted on the constitutional arguments as time merits.
In the meantime, lets hope the children will be reunited with their parents quickly.

Doesn’t anyone remember the year 2000? Doesn’t anyone out there remember the Democrats furious with anger that the popular vote had not elected the President?
My O my how the times have changed.
More proof that the ideals the Democratic party claims to espouse are only borne out of political necessity: whatever is necessary at the moment to make the Republican party look bad.
By refusing to seat the delegates from Florida and Michigan, the Democratic party is guilty of its own hypocrisy. A chart showing Hillary with the popular vote lead when Florida and Michigan are counted can be found here.
Another interesting point: had EVERY vote counted (i.e. the overseas absentee ballots in Florida) Bush would have easily won the popular vote. At least the Democrats are consistent with their own inconsistency.
But then again, it’s no wonder that the Democrats are running from the “let the popular vote count” manta. Check out the most recent J. Sidney McCain vs. B. Hussein Obama polling results. McCain wins. You can be damn sure the Dems will not want the popular vote to count then!
Another source asserting McCain’s ability to contend with Obama.
Of this you can be sure: The questions of Barack’s association with the Rev. Wright have only served to weaken his national character. Should Mr. Obama win the nomination, McCain should start polling more consistent with Barack. The Democrats, always seeking to establish a new “minority of legitimacy” will use whatever legal or shady tactics possible, selectively across the states, to produce election results in their favor.
No wonder Obama won Oregon so easily, Oregon has an all absentee ballot system.
No wonder Democrats so furiously fight voter-ID laws
Isn’t progress great? You follow the law, and they undermine you for their intended result!

McCain to rely on party money against B. Hussein
Perhaps all those “moderates” or “independents” will fork over their money to McCain? Perhaps all those non-Republican’s will give up their money? After all, election results like these did not come from conservative voters. One thing is for certain: most conservatives will not give this man a dime, no matter how much trouble he is in. If the GOP is going to exclusively work for the McCain brand now I predict that the fund raising woes on the Republicans part will only continue.
Don’t get me wrong. McCain is the Republican nominee, so I will vote for him. But give MY hard earned cash to an amnesty supporter? Give my hard earned cash to someone who will continue the flow of jobs overseas? Give my hard earned cash to someone who will not tow the party line? Yeah, I don’t think so.
