Congress hears voters ANGER- working towards $80 a barrell oil

Too bad more issues of public policy can’t decided with only four months till election day..

Be relieved- real economic relief is on the way. The cost of of gasoline should run about $2.50 a gallon if Congress actually accomplishes something (and believe me, with only 120ish days till the election, they will get this done).

In its own way, the free market worked. Demand eased off and prices fell. For now, our budgets can finally breath again.

In the meantime, get your finances in order. Because until we have more domestic drilling and production we will still be at the mercy of OPEC. Short of heavily regulating speculators, their is precious little we can do unless we can find another source for crude.

If we, like sheep, vote in the same old, same old with no demand for real domestic energy the next time an oil spike hits it could very well destroy the economy. Are you really willing to sit by and let that happen? Is your families budget really prepared to pay upwards of $4-5 and beyond for gas? If we don’t make this the only issue of relevance in November, that is exactly what will happen.
