Citizens Against Government Waste, on their Swine Line blog, has complied a list of votes related to ANWR, offshore drilling and energy votes.
There is only one conclusion: the Republicans have a pro-energy platform, the Democrats, on the other hand, have shown consistent and repeated attempts at regulation, taxation and outright prohibition of being able to meet this nations growing energy needs.
My personal favorite:
3/13/2008- The Senate voted on a motion to create a point of order against bills that would raise gasoline prices. The motion failed 39-59. Of that, 37 Republicans voted for and 59 Democrats voted against.
Enough said. /smirk
