This must be one of those “duh” articles.
Here is a scarier one: One third of homeowners who have purchased in the last five years now owe more on their mortgages than their properties are worth.
Or perhaps this one: 1 in every 464 homeowners in the United States received a foreclosure filing last month.
It’s no wonder that the economy and energy/gas prices make up the top two issues on voters minds. The third issue on the list (the War in Iraq, third straight month in a row its dropped off voters minds) doesn’t even make half of the respondents that the two main issues do.
With happy news like this, it’s no wonder we are turning back to the boob tube. Buy hey, at least our boy Phelps is getting it done.
