The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s formal declaration Monday that greenhouse gases jeopardize public health paves the way for federal regulation of carbon dioxide emissions from refineries, chemical facilities and power plants - even if Congress rejects climate change legislation.

The EPA’s finding that carbon dioxide endangers the public also will give President Obama political ammunition when he goes before world leaders in Copenhagen next week to promise U.S. emissions cuts as part of international climate change negotiations that started Monday.

Although the EPA’s formal declaration does not directly impose new carbon dioxide caps, it establishes the framework for regulating carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act.

Monday’s action satisfies a legal hurdle for the EPA to finalize the first-ever national limits on tailpipe emissions, proposed earlier this year. Industry and EPA lawyers say the vehicle emissions rule and the endangerment finding would compel the agency to regulate - under the Clean Air Act - the heat-trapping gases released from industrial operations and other stationery sources, possibly by next spring.

Do not say that Libertarians and the Freedom and Liberty movement didn’t warn you. We did- loudly.

Tyranny is about to be imposed on us and it will forever change the way our freedoms, commerce, life and our culture operate. There is no mandate for these changes, but is being advanced and imposed by a scientific dictatorship that has carefully presented and cultivated a view of life that a free humanity is the problem. A free humanity that operates under Nature’s Law and Nature’s God. A free humanity that operates in accordance with our inalienable rights. All of this is about to be stripped from us under the auspices of fighting climate change.

Please do not be surprised when they- the government- come out and say the increasing amount of regulations, fines, fees and taxes they will impose as a result of this mandate is doing nothing to combat ‘global climate change’. Please do not be surprised when those said regulations, fines, fees and taxes increase in severity and amount year after year. Please do not be surprised when the climate data they present to you shows no net improvement of our overall global climate.

It is time to get prepared now- a huge underground and secondary economy is about to spring up. The free market will never be defeated- it will just be driven underground and taken off the ‘official’ books and tax records. Barter, trade and exchange will become the new norm in the face of increasing government burden. Given what we will be facing, it only makes sense that economy and production will have to be done out of the eyes of government.

We can only hope that the act of just being born, and society’s cultural respect for it, will be able to ward off the social and economic penalties that the scientific dictatorship will seek to impose.

Today’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll from Rasmussen:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13.

This is reflective of national trends. Voters who strongly approve of the President are falling, while voters who are lining up in opposition are growing. Of course, we would have to ask if any of those ’strongly approve’ voters were ever actually there, given Obama’s ties to the voter-fraud group, ACORN.

Obama is starting to get desperate. Will he use the Swine Flu to force Nationalized Eugenics Health Care on the unaccepting American public? Or will Obama use some other tactics to prop up his support? Let us hope that these voters against Obama are more robust in their resolve than the infancy of their awareness.

The government is preparing the single largest vaccine awareness campaign ever in preparation for the potential of the Swine Flu to turn into a global pandemic. The CDC is amassing a $4.8 million propaganda campaign aimed a mobilizing the public to the ~2,400 local health districts for a two-cycle shot to immunize against the H1N1 flu virus. What remains to be seen however is if this fear is justified.

To start, the CDC claims that so far this year 522 people have died as a result of the swine flu virus. With scant data available on the CDC’s H1N1 flu virus page, we can only assume that a significant percentage of these cases involved the very young, the very old, the sick and those with other ailments that complicated recovery. Additionally, compare this number with the estimated ~30,000 people that die from the regular flu virus in any given year.

This discrepancy cannot be ignored. Why is the CDC so concerned with the Swine Flu? The World Health Organization notes:

Seasonal influenza occurs every year and the viruses change each year - but many people have some immunity to the circulating virus which helps limit infections. Some countries also use seasonal influenza vaccines to reduce illness and deaths.

But influenza A(H1N1) is a new virus and one to which most people have no or little immunity and, therefore, this virus could cause more infections than are seen with seasonal flu. WHO is working closely with manufacturers to expedite the development of a safe and effective vaccine but it will be some months before it is available.

The new influenza A(H1N1) appears to be as contagious as seasonal influenza, and is spreading fast particularly among young people (from ages 10 to 45). The severity of the disease ranges from very mild symptoms to severe illnesses that can result in death. The majority of people who contract the virus experience the milder disease and recover without antiviral treatment or medical care. Of the more serious cases, more than half of hospitalized people had underlying health conditions or weak immune systems.

The cause for concern seems greatly exaggerated as the number of infections that result in death seems far, far below the regular flu average and even the governing bodies own data admit that most of these death’s are due to underlying symptoms that were only aggravated by said flu virus. But something else stood out, “But influenza A(H1N1) is a new virus and one to which most people have no or little immunity….”.

A new virus? The H1N1 Swine Flu virus, “contains DNA typical to avian, swine and human viruses, including elements from European and Asian swine viruses”. Suddenly this Swine Flu scare is starting to make sense. But the real story is not being reported and carries much, much more weight that the Swine Flu scare itself.

In 2004 the CDC began experiments to mix Avian and human flu variants in a attempts to better understand how future flu variants might mix and spread naturally.

CTV.ca notes:

The researchers, from the influenza branch of the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, will mate H5N1 and human flu viruses in a process known as reassortment. Viable offspring will be tested in animals thought to be good surrogates for humans, to see if the viruses can infect, can be transmitted easily from infected animals to healthy ones and to note the severity of disease each provokes.

In other words, the CDC researchers will be deliberately engineering viruses of pandemic potential. It’s high-risk but crucial work, the influenza community insists.

Natural News notes that:

There was another, faster way CDC scientists could create the mix, too. Called reverse genetics, it involves piecing together a new virus with genes from the H5N1 and H3N2 viruses. Reverse genetics had already been used successfully to create H5N1 candidate vaccines in several laboratories, the CDC’s Daigle wrote. “Any viable viruses that emerge from these processes will be seeded into animals that are considered good models for testing how flu viruses behave in humans… The aim will be to observe whether the animals get sick and whether infected animals can infect others,” he revealed in his e-mail.

What’s more, the CP reported the CDC had already made hybrid viruses with H5N1 samples isolated from patients in Hong Kong in 1997, when there was the first outbreak of that virus, dubbed the “Hong Kong flu”. It is not clear if the results of that research were ever published. Back in 2004, Dr. Nancy Cox, then head of the CDC’s influenza branch, would tell the CP only: “Some gene combinations could be produced and others could not.”

At this point we know that the H1N1 virus appears man made as evidenced by the Avian, Swine and human flu variants found in it’s DNA. We also know that as far back as 2004 the CDC and WHO had been eagerly pushing to combine all these killer flu strains to study the possibility that a super-flu pandemic could break out when these independent strains mix in nature.

Is it possible that one of these lab created flu viruses escaped the level 3 containment? If so it appears we are lucky that this one does not appear to be more serious that the ordinary flu. However, it is important to note here: government medicine created this problem, government medicine will make it worse.

A swine flu vaccine will be fast-tracked for use in Britain within five days once it is developed, and 130 million doses are on order.

The Department of Health expects to have enough vaccine this year to give it to half the population. Further supplies will be available if needed. Each person will need two doses of the vaccine, unless one single jab is found to provide high rates of immunity.

The first doses specific to the H1N1 swine flu virus are set to arrive in September and could be given regulatory approval in less than a week.

Fast tracked medicine. Government created viruses. Tinkering with and combining killer strains the of the flu to study the results. And nevermind the real concerns about mercury in vaccines, which as been linked to autism. Is this the future of health care under the nationalization plans proposed by President Obama? Given the government’s ability to manage the Cash For Clunkers program, we can only assume that the Swine Flu is also a good representation of how well the government would manage our health care.

The good news- the Washington Post is reporting that at this point the government’s push to vaccinate the public against the man-made Swine Flu in completely voluntary. Given the dangers that lurk in vaccines, as well as much-over-hyped symptoms that this H1N1 virus brings, it would seem best to sit back and say thanks but no thanks.

But still, one has to wonder, what are the scientists at the WHO and CDC going to combine this flu scare with? What new pandemic will they seek to create with this year’s strains? And next time will they have the vaccine remedy available before they choose to release it onto the general public?

Bailouts, reforms, expanded powers of the Federal Reserve. Economic turmoil. Nationalization of our the auto, bank and health care industries.

When you look at all the problems facing us today it almost seems surreal. It almost seems passé  to worry about the erosion of civil liberties due to the expansion of government power and control. Contrast this to the eight years of the Bush presidency when one couldn’t sneeze without someone arguing about how Bush is violating their rights. No one, it seems, is willing to face the reality: Obama, by and large, is carrying on with the exact same agenda, secrecy and expansion of government that his predecessor was. Hope and change has turned out to be nothing more than a marketing gimmick. A intentional disguise to hide the fact that he actually intends to build on what he inherited from President Bush. A cool ploy to hide the man behind the curtain: centralized banking and the power oligarchs.

And I don’t begrudge those haven’t caught up to this fact yet. But the facts are the facts. There will be no end to the war or terror, the war in Iraq or secret military tribunals. There will be no end to the Department of Homeland Security and the so-called Patriot Act. If anything we have seen the emboldenment and elevation of the Terror State since Obama took office. And, just like the patriots warned would happen, the DHS is now starting to label American’s as terrorists for simply supporting the Constitution, waving a Gadsen flag or re-affirming a strong political stance.

What we are facing is really a crises of responsibility. It really boils down to that.

Men, it is time to step up. If you love your life, if you love your country, it is time to step up.

I would like to suggest this: It doesn’t matter if a government program is doing good or bad, by simply existing it is a threat to our liberty and freedom. Decentralize and repeal must become the mantra of the patriot, the Christian, the freeman. We must demand a return to the principals our our forefathers: our rights end were another person’s begin. Taxation operates out of compulsion and force; it is the antithesis of freedom and liberty. We can not support federal government mandated programs where they exceed the 18 limited and enumerated powers of the Constitution, no matter the positive or negative effects to society.

Perhaps some of you are not the ‘political type’. I get that, I really do. But I would like to ask you this: at what point does this system become a problem? How many abuses will you allow to be assailed against you before you petition for redress? Where is your line in the sand?

Think about your home. Your land and home are taxed.  The loan you obtain the home with is taken from a bank owned by the Federal Reserve. The food you fill it with, regulated and controlled in it’s manufacture, marketing and content. The clothes you wear, subject to trade law and the health care you need should you become sick, nationalized. The car in your driveway, built by a company owned by the Federal Government. Your employer, regulated, controlled and taxed. At every aspect of our most basic right to life, liberty and property we find the usurpations and abuses promulgating every aspect of our being.

Consider what Frederic Bastiat wrote in ‘The Law’, 1850:

Each of us has a natural right—from God—to defend his person, his liberty, and his property.  These are the three basic requirements of life, and the preservation of any one of them is completely dependent upon the preservation of the other two.  For what are our faculties but the extension of our individuality? And what is property but an extension of our faculties?

Do you see where we are at? Do you see what is at hand? Put most simply: you have a moral obligation to fight against government encroachment into areas that exceed it’s lawful powers. We can no longer be happy with simply fighting for a smaller percentage of government growth, we must reduce the size, scope and authority of said government.

Decentralize and repeal. No longer a choice between two bad idea’s, but honest hope and change. The first step, of course, is for us to take responsibility for our own lives. So I guess the real question of the day is this: what are you doing to promote your own freedom and happiness? What battles are you fighting? Are you dependent on this system that operates on force to help you obtain what you need to survive? These are the questions we must ask.

Men, are we willing to fight this battle for posterity? History will record the result.

A written exam administered by the Pentagon labels “protests” as a form of “low-level terrorism” — enraging civil liberties advocates and activist groups who say it shows blatant disregard of the First Amendment.

The written exam, given as part of Department of Defense employees’ routine training, includes a multiple-choice question that asks:

Which of the following is an example of low-level terrorism?”

— Attacking the Pentagon

— IEDs

— Hate crimes against racial groups

— Protests

The correct answer, according to the exam, is “Protests.”

“Its part of a pattern of equating dissent and protest with terrorism,” said Ann Brick, an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union, which obtained a copy of the question after a Defense Department employee who was taking the test printed the screen on his or her computer terminal.

“It undermines the core constitutional values the Department of Defense is supposed to be defending,” Brick said, referring to the First Amendment right to peaceably assemble

She said the ACLU has asked the Defense Department to remove the question and send out a correction to all employees who took the exam.

“There were other employees who were unhappy with it and disturbed by it,” Brick said.

Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Les Melnyk said the Defense Department is looking into the matter and expects to provide more information later Wednesday.

“We need to determine if it’s something we’re currently doing,” Melnyk said. “A lot of the information in this exam is intended for people stationed abroad. We counsel those people to avoid demonstrations.”

Anti-war protesters, who say they have been targets of federal surveillance for years, were livid when they were told about the exam question.

“That’s illegal,” said George Martin, national co-chairman of United for Peace and Justice. “Protest in terms of legal dissent has to be recognized, especially by the authorities.

“It’s not terrorism or a lack of patriotism. We care enough to be active in our government.”

Bill Wilson, president of the Americans for Limited Government, which supported the Tea Party demonstrations earlier this year, agreed.

“Groups like Al Qaeda and Hezbollah, paramilitary orgainzations that are striking at out at something they oppose or hate, that’s terrorism,” Wilson said.

“To equate that in any degree with citizens being able to express themselves seems to me to be headed down a road where all dissent is suspect and questionable.”

Ben Friedman, a research fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington, said the U.S. government has a long history of infringing upon citizens’ civil liberties in the name of domestic security.

“It’s the kind of thing that happens when you have large security bureaucracies, which is why they need to be kept in check,” Friedman said. “These things tend to occur in times of panic, like after Sept. 11.”

The ACLU, in a letter of complaint it sent to the Defense Department, catalogued a list of what it said were recent civil liberties violations by federal authorities, including the monitoring of anti-war protests and the FBI’s surveillance of potential protesters at the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York.

Martin said getting information on the extent of the FBI and National Security Agency’s surveillance programs is nearly impossible.

“I have been arrested within 100 yards of George W. Bush and spoken out against the policies of our government in more than 100 countries,” he said. “But they said they have no record on me. I don’t believe that.”

During Bush’s presidency, the Defense Department was criticized for infringing on citizens’ civil rights through surveillance programs designed to protect the nation against terrorist attacks. Brick said she has seen no indication that there will be a change in policy under President Obama.

“We need to see what they do,” she said. “In a number of areas the Obama administration has not backed off and kept the Bush administration line.”

President Obama’s plan to revamp financial regulations triggered immediate criticism Wednesday from both the political left and right over the expanded policing authorities given to the Federal Reserve while business groups grumbled about a powerful new agency charged with protecting consumers against abusive lending.

The broad plan would step up regulation of nearly every financial institution while extending government control to markets and players such as hedge funds that escaped supervision in the past. But it keeps much of the patchwork quilt of regulatory agencies created in the last century as the government responded to financial crises like the one that precipitated the current overhaul last fall.

The only regulator to get the ax was the Office of Thrift Supervision, whose lax regulation of Countrywide and other freewheeling mortgage lenders helped cause a meltdown in mortgage lending that continues to this day and precipitated the worst global financial crisis and recession since World War II.

The Fed would receive enhanced power to regulate, lend to and close down companies outside its traditional banking domain, if their failure could endanger the economy or financial system. But the Fed would have to get the Treasury’s agreement to any rescue that puts taxpayer dollars at risk, and it would lose its power to write regulations protecting consumers against abuses. Those powers would be taken over by the new consumer agency.

The U.S. Census Bureau has been overstepping the U.S. Constitution’s requirements for a simple enumeration of the citizens for years, but their current plans to mark the GPS location of every address in the U.S. is just the latest in a long list of usurpations of the General Government’s Constitutional authority.

The Bureau of Census is sending its army of workers to every address in the United States within the next couple of months in order to log the Global Positioning System (GPS) location of every American citizen’s home.

Cataloging the physical location of people’s homes is far removed from the Constitutional grant of authority to the government to merely count how many people are living in the several states in order to assign an appropriate number of Representatives to them in the U.S. House of Representatives¹ so, there must be another purpose for this action.

The term “Census” is Latin for to appraise or to assess a value thereon. In Roman history it was a registration or count of citizens and their property to determine taxation.”²

The spirit of the word ‘Census,’ as to appraise or assess a value on the citizens’ labor and their property, does not appear anywhere in the U.S. Constitution, only an enumeration (counting) of people every ten years in order to appropriate Representatives.

The Bureau of Census is a relatively new creation, not actually in existence in the beginning of the United States. It was established temporarily in 1899 and as a permanent office within the Department of Interior in 1902, just a few years prior to our nation surrendering its money supply to a private cabal of international banks. In 1903, the Bureau of Census - now functioning as a de facto “Bureau of Appraisals” was absorbed by the newly created Department of Commerce and Labor, which was later separated into two separate departments. The Bureau of Census (Appraisals) was reorganized in 1950 and remains in the Commerce Department to this day.³

Congress created the Bureau of Census (Appraisals) to begin the laborious task of cataloging, serial numbering and tracking the value of all personal and business property in the United States, as well as the humans therein for the purposes of appraising their value and preparing them for use as collateral against the nation’s debt under a proposed fiat debt money scheme to be implemented later on in 1913.

Ten years after its inception, the Department of Commerce was restructured as a stand-alone entity separating Labor into its own Department (15 USC 1501). The private, for-profit corporation, known as the Federal Reserve System was formed in the same year as the restructuring of the Department of Commerce. Under the new Federal Reserve System’s plan, all new money would be brought into existence via loans to the government and citizens. The Bureau of Census (Appraisals), as a division of the Department of Commerce, is charged with keeping track of the number of human chattels whose labor is pledged against the national debt via the Federal income tax. The Bureau of Census (Appraisals) also appraises and keeps track of manufacturers, mineral industries, distributive trades, construction industries, agriculture, religious organizations and transportation. All towns, cities, and municipalities are required to annually submit a report of all new construction, multi-family units, new businesses, and any losses to the Bureau of Census (Appraisals) for the purposes of keeping a current valuation of all property in the United States.⁴

Just prior to the bankruptcy of the United States in June, 1933, the Bureau of Census (Appraisals) undertook a bold new venture. During the month of April, 1930, over 100,000 persons were engaged in taking the census. At that time the usual questions regarding race, color, sex, age, occupation, whether married or single, and whether able to write were asked. In addition were such questions as the value of your home and whether owned or rented, whether you were the owner of a radio, and detailed questions regarding unemployment.⁵ This information was needed in order to assess a value on the chattels and collateral the Federal Reserve banks needed before loaning money to the soon to be bankrupt U.S. government.

The Under Secretary for Economic Affairs compiles all Census data and makes it available to those who are in need of it - such as banks seeking to determine how well a state or geographic area of people are able to collateralize a bond issue (loan) with their currently existing labor and property.

The current scheme of using unwitting census workers to mark the GPS location of every address in the United States, under the banner of a Constitutional enumeration of the citizens, has nothing to do with counting people in order to appropriate Representatives to Congress. Instead, it appears to be an unconstitutional ploy to catalog and track all citizens’ property which has been pledged to the banks and creditors who hold the notes on the United States’ now $11+ trillion national debt.

“We are using the GPS data to help our census takers find your home when they come around next year,” said one census worker. However, when asked since she was able to find the person’s house without a GPS coordinate to begin with, why was a GPS coordinate necessary for another census worker, she was unable to explain.

Some have speculated that the GPS coordinates are for the Federal Government’s future use in silencing protesters, confiscating firearms or foreclosing on homes on behalf of the foreign banks and countries who have loaned the U.S. trillions of dollars in unpayable debt. Whatever this government’s intentions are, history has shown they are not benevolent.

The Fort Fairfield Journal contacted Paul Powell, Partnership Coordinator for the Boston Regional Census Center to ask what Constitutional authority the Bureau of Census had to catalog GPS coordinates, what the information was being used for, what other information was being collected about the address at the time the GPS coordinates were taken, and what steps the Bureau of Census was taking to protect the privacy of those who chose not to allow their home to be cataloged as such. Mr. Powell acknowledged receiving the questions, but refused to comment or provide answers.

While the Bureau of Census (Appraisals) may have enacting legislation to grant its authority by fiat, the U.S. Constitution has granted no power to the Federal government to do anything other than count people, with respect to the Census. Therefore, the Census workers’ cataloging the GPS positions of every home address in the U.S. is blatantly unlawful activity initiated on behalf of the private banking industry now running Congress. According to the 10th amendment, any power not granted to the Federal government, or prohibited by the Constitution to the States, is reserved to the States or the people respectively.

Remember, the Constitution authorizes enumeration ONLY (Article I Section 2). Any question above and beyond the number of people and number of persons of voting age is beyond the scope of the Founders’ intent.

“The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.” Article I, Sec. 2, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution.

Once again historical revisionists would have us overlook the fact that the Founders’ written style- in this case capitalizing “Enumeration” was a signal to the legitimate powers of the United States government. Powers specifically delegated to the Federal Government were outlined and set apart from the duties of government- that is responsibilities that the Federal Government had within the context of the limitations placed on it.

In this case, the Constitution only authorizes Enumeratory powers and any constitutionally legitimate law written under this clause of the United States Constitution will limit itself to the powers of population and household Enumeration. Enumeration, as defined by the Merriam-Webster means “to count”.

Because the Census it used to determine House seat apportionment, it is appropriate for the Census to ask, in addition to how many people are at a home, how many of them are of voting age. However, any other questions (how many guns, electricity source, religion, et al) is clearly beyond the plain and clear language of the original intent.

For my household Obama will get the following- 2 and 3. Two people of legal voting age and three total household members.

BTW, worse case scenario it is only a $100 fine for NOT answering (higher fines if you give deliberately false answers). $100 is worth forcing the government to stick to its enumerated power in this blogger’s humble opinion.
